Flax seeds, also known as linseed, can greatly support a healthy diet as they are rich in dietary fibre, which plays an important role in maintaining good digestive health. A 20g portion of our flax seeds delivers over 5g of dietary fibre, as well as 3.9g of omega-3 fatty acids (ALA) to contribute to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels.
Extremely versatile, milled flax seeds can be added to yoghurt, porridges, cereal, and even soaked in a little bit of water to obtain a vegan-friendly substitute to eggs in baking.
