So, here are some delicious healthy options to try out!

1) Smoothie Bowl

There’s no better way to get back into the swing of things than with a nutritious smoothie bowl! Smoothie bowls are a heartier version of smoothies; they blend fruits, seeds, protein, and powders served with delicious toppings.

If your goal is to include more greens or fruits into your diet, this is a great and fast way of getting it.

Suggested ingredients:

Our organic milled flaxseeds, a teaspoon of our psyllium husk, hemp seeds, raw maca powder, pumpkin seeds, organic hemp protein powder, 1 handful of spinach, 1 banana, 1/2 half cup of frozen pineapple.

Suggested toppings: As a topping, try out our organic dried fruits, coconut flakes, nuts and seeds.

2) Overnight oats

If you wish to optimise your time during the morning, why don’t you try to make breakfast ahead? Overnight oat takes just a couple of minutes of preparation. It is a great mindful activity to help you wind down before bed. You can add chia seeds to your bowl and a variety of plant-based milk to soften the oats. Place your oats in the fridge and forget about it until morning; let it soak overnight or for 2 hours. As a result, you will get a soft, creamy bowl to be enriched with your favourite toppings. Feel free to experiment with ingredients.

Suggested ingredients:

Our Organic Gluten-Free Oat, Chia seeds.

Suggested toppings: As a topping, try our organic dried fruits, coconut flakes, nuts and seeds.

3) Protein pancakes

Protein pancakes are a good choice before an intense workout or a busy day at work! You can experiment with this recipe with different flours. For example, chickpea flour mixed with protein powder works well for vegan recipes! Carbohydrates are the body’s preferred energy source, so it’s a good idea to have them around the most active part of your day.

Suggested toppings: peanut butter, almond butter, tahini, syrup, dried or fresh fruits, homemade chocolate sauce

4) Chia pudding

Pudding is the perfect healthy, fast, leisurely breakfast. It is easy, satisfying and loaded with excellent sources of nutrients like protein, fibre and fatty acids.

The first step is to stir together your chia seeds and plant-based milk in a bowl.

The perfect chia pudding consistency for one serving is 3-4 Tablespoons of chia seeds to 1 cup of liquid.

Once the chia pudding mixture is well combined, let it sit for 5 minutes, give it another stir/shake to break up any clumps of chia seeds, cover and put the mixture in the fridge to “set” for 1-2 hours or overnight. The chia pudding should be nice and thick, not liquid.

If it’s not thick, just add more chia seeds (1 teaspoon to 1 Tablespoon), stir and refrigerate for another 30 minutes or so.

Suggested toppings: Seeds, nuts, syrup, dried or fresh fruits.

5) Porridge

Another healthy recipe to try out is porridge. Put the superfood outlet organic oats and your favourite plant-based milk in a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer.

Cook gently over medium-low heat for 10 minutes, stirring often.

Finish with a pinch of salt stirred through. Add more milk to thin the porridge, if you like. You can experiment by adding your favourite nut butter and our organic cacao powder to make it more chocolatey.

Suggested toppings: Nuts, seeds, dried fruits

6) Superfood Salad
